GERMAN MADE PADS We now have the German-made pads like the pads we have had in the past. We realized that they are the best for our purposes. We were not able to get them for a while as the manufacture quit making themI really wanted to get much of our equipment be American made, but alas this turned out to not be possible and still get what the vaulting community wanted and needed. BLEYER SHOES We are taking special orders for Bleyer shoes. Bleyer offers the "Nadia" model as well as basic vaulting shoes. They also offer a wide array of colors and prints, too many to keep in stock. Please watch for the link to Bleyer's catalog in the near future. "SLIDER" SIDE REINS We now carry the German designed "slider" sidereins, both with and without donuts. Donuts were impossible to get for a long time, but we have prevailed in reinstating them on sidereins. MEINECKE-LASSE LD SURCINGLE We carry the new Lasse LD Surcingle and usually have them in stock. | ||
| A LITTLE HISTORY Pegasus Vaulting Supply has been supporting the vaulting community since 1990. Ask any old timer about how hard it was to get a pair of shoes, or, to get not just the surcingle you wanted, but any surcingle. Kitchy and Michael Spadinger connected in Germany at a competition. He sent her home with a suitcase of shoes and she became his American supplier. At that point, all one had to do was order a pair, and it would be shipped out immediately. Wow. amazing! Enter Merrill Leffmann and her German husband, Dieter Bollmann. We became partners and soon, a full fledged vaulting equipment supplier. We got shoes and equipment from Germany and sent them out at less cost and certainly less hassle for someone than trying to get something from Germany. We have donated countless shoes to our Europe-bound competitors. We donated a whole surcingle for a raffle to benefit the AVA. Kitchy brings shoes to competitions and carries surcingles and other equipment in her luggage to avoid shipping costs for purchasers. We have done everything we can to keep our prices down and affordable. At times, we felt like a service organization, the profit margin was so low! We order in bulk, we don't charge more for white leather even though it is more expensive, we keep prices as affordable as we can. We could sell our new PE for much more than $425.00, but we feel that this is another one of our ways to promote the sport, to have a quality surcingle that start up groups can realistically afford. We feel that vaulting was given a fighting chance to become as popular as it is, and was given an easy, dependable, affordable way to get equipment, because of PVS. Can you imagine NOT having PVS to have on call? Ask any old timer. They will tell you how it was! Thank you for counting on us for all of your vaulting needs. | ||
